Manhattan Theatre
Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director;
Barry Grove, Executive Producer) has announced
that Aunjanue Ellis, Peter Francis James, Anthony Mackie,
and Alfre Woodard lead the cast of DROWNING
CROW by Regina Taylor. The play, inspired
by Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, is directed by
Marion McClinton.
DROWNING
CROW is produced by Manhattan Theatre Club at
the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The production will
open Thursday, February 19. Previews began Thursday, January 29.
Sets are by David Gallo, costumes by Paul
Tazewell, lighting by Ken Billington,
sound by Dan Moses Schreier, and video
design by Wendall K. Harrington. Original music
is composed by Daryl Waters and choreography
is by Ken Roberson.
