CHERRY
JONES (Sister Aloysius) has performed on Broadway
in the Lincoln Center Theater production of The Heiress,
for which she won the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle,
and Drama League awards. Other Broadway: Imaginary Friends; Our
Country's Good (Tony nomination); The Night of the Iguana; Angels
in America; Macbeth; and Steppin' Out. Regional
and Off-Broadway credits include Pride's Crossing (Drama
Desk, Outer Critics' Circle, and Lucille Lortel awards), The
Baltimore Waltz (Obie Award), The Good Person of Setzuan (Joseph
Jefferson Award), I Am a Camera, The Seagull, The
Importance of Being Earnest and Goodnight Desdemona/Goodmorning
Juliet. Ms. Jones can be seen in M. Night Shyamalan's two
most recent films The Village and Signs. She
can also be seen as Hallie Flanagan in Tim Robbins' film Cradle
Will Rock and in Stephen Soderbergh's Erin Brockovich with
Julia Roberts. She appeared in The Horse Whisperer,
directed by Robert Redford, and in Wolfgang Peterson's The
Perfect Storm and PBS Masterpiece Theater's production
of "Cora Unashamed." She also appeared opposite Gene
Wilder in his ongoing series of mysteries for A&E. Ms.
Jones trained at Carnegie-Mellon University and is a founding
member of the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
where she has performed in more than two dozen productions,
including As You Like It; Twelfth Night; The
Three Sisters; Major Barbara; The Caucasian Chalk
Circle; and the premieres of both Christopher Durang's Baby
With the Bathwater and Larry Gelbart's Mastergate.

LENOX (Mrs. Muller) comes to MTC directly from her
role as Shug Avery in the world premiere of The Color Purple musical
at the Alliance Theatre. Prior to that, she was The Moon
in The Public Theater's Off-Broadway production of Caroline
or Change. Broadway credits include Ain't Misbehavin',
Dreamgirls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,
Kiss Me Kate, The Buddy Holly Story. Off-Broadway audiences
have seen her in Spunk, The Venus, The America Play,
Dinah was. (Obie, Audelco awards), Miss Evers' Boys and Cavedweller. TV
appearances include "Law & Order" (original and "SVU") and "Third
Watch."
