Kim Kowalke: president of the Kurt Weill Foundation, Turner Professor of Music and Turner Professor of Humanities at Eastman College of Music.
Foster Hirsch: professor in the film department of City University of New York’s Brooklyn College, and the author of sixteen books on subjects related to theater and film, including Kurt Weill—On Stage: From Berlin to Broadway.
Alex Ross: journalist/music critic of The New Yorker.
Michael Feingold: Noted Brecht translator (Threepenny Opera, Happy End) and Chief Theater Critic for the Village Voice.
Pamela Katz: Screenwriter and novelist Katz is the author of a historical novel in German called Die Seeraueberin. (the title is a reference to the “Pirate Jenny Song”) She is currently working on a related screenplay which will focus on Lenya’s Weimar years.
Michael Barrett: co-founder and co-artistic director of the acclaimed New York Festival of Song and Chief Executive and General Director of the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts.
