JOHN LEONARD (Sound Designer) began
working in theatre in 1971. Since then he
has provided soundtracks for hundreds of
productions worldwide, including many for
the RSC. Broadway credits include Les
Liaisons Dangereuses, Aristocrats, Hamlet,
Medea, The Real Thing, Jumpers, Private
Lives, The Iceman Cometh and DruidSynge.
He is the author of a widely praised book on
theatre sound and the recipient of Drama
Desk and Sound Designer of the Year
Awards, and he happens to like New York.
