Bank of America has provided generous support to MTC’s Education Program for the 2006-2007 season, and we are proud to welcome them to our roster of corporate donors. 

MTC’s Education Program provides nine distinct learning initiatives, ranging from playwriting residencies with incarcerated students to professional development training for classroom teachers and graduate students to an international distance-learning arts education program.  Each season, MTC provides arts education to more than 5,000 students, teachers and family members in the New York metropolitan area, across the country, and in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Dedicated to achieving higher standards in their commitment to the neighborhoods in which they live and do business, Bank of America supports a wide variety of non-profit organizations through grants, matching gifts, leadership development, and employee volunteerism for both current and retired employees.  Their philanthropic approach simply is to provide meaningful change by forming partnerships with key community stakeholders, investing in those relationships and organizations to identify critical needs in communities, and better equipping those organizations to address those needs.

Bank of America understands that students can achieve more academically by learning through the arts, and their support of MTC’s multifaceted Education Program will benefit not only students but also teachers and families.  MTC is extremely grateful for Bank of America’s support of our Education Program this season.
