Manhattan Theatre Club’s Winter Benefit will take place on Monday, January 28, 2008 at the fabled Rainbow Room.

Unlike any other event in New York , MTC’s Winter Benefit: An Intimate Night brings you up close to Broadway’s most glittering stars for an original, one-night only cabaret. Designed to symbolize all the glamour and elegance of New York nightlife, the Rainbow Room is the ideal setting for this unique event. The night begins at 7:00 p.m. with cocktails, followed by dinner, and the show.

Last year’s event featured Tony and Emmy winner Christine Baranski (Regrets Only, “Cybil”), Broadway and television star Jesse L. Martin (Rent, “Law & Order”) and rising star Kate Reinders (Wicked, Gypsy). Performers for this year’s benefit will be announced shortly.

Funds raised from An Intimate Night will provide critical resources for Manhattan Theatre Club’s education program, which brings theatre to over 4,000 New York City schoolchildren each year, and will allow MTC to fulfill its mission as the leading non-profit theatre company producing contemporary plays on and off-Broadway.
