Mary Catherine Garrison, Elizabeth Marvel, Martha Plimpton and Marisa Tomei have been cast in Manhattan Theater Club's Broadway staging of the 1982 Caryl Churchill play Top Girls. The production will begin previews on April 15, 2008 at the Biltmore Theatre.

 

Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records, will released the world premiere recording of the Manhattan Theatre Club’s new Broadway musical LoveMusik, which was nominated for four Tony Awards. The production – starring Tony Award winners Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy and featuring the songs of Kurt Weill – was called an “audacious work that never shies away from taking risks” by Variety and “altogether remarkable” by The New York Post. The recording is available in stores and online.

 

Manhattan Theatre Club will present the world premiere of From Up Here , Liz Flahive’s new American play. This production is presented in association with Ars Nova. The production, to be directed by Leigh Silverman (Well, Yellowface), will begin previews Thursday, March 27 for a Wednesday, April 16 opening at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55 th Street).
